Why was the pope seen doing the devil sign? satanist hmmmm?

I haven't seen the picture yet. But for years they claimed Rock musicians made the sign of the devil. Front of hand with outside fingers up. When in fact it is the Universal hand sign for I Love You. It's the back of the hand with outside fingers up, that represent evil. Which is what they are using today.
