How do I find out? Where Do I Start?

I have begun to have feelings towards someone that is probably a transual. The thing is that I have never been into women before and I am thinking that I may be bi. It is easy when you are straight to ume that most people you meet are straight too. How do I find other bi women in my area... I do not like internet personals and I certainly am not ready to just jump in feet first. Any advice?
