Mountain Biking Editorial?

For my engineering cl, small groups chose different sports to try, and study the physics, write an editorial, and publish articles into our own magazine. My group is doing mountain biking, and I was chosen to write an editorial. I have several years of experience mountain biking, but I'm having trouble coming up with an editorial topic or issue. Please give me some ideas.
